Employee Spotlight: Carolyn, Customer Success Specialist
With a passion for learning she holds a Masters in International Business from the University of St. Andrews. With her academic background, she will assist our team to ensure that customers are receiving satisfactory support, and are getting the full benefits from our services. With her bubbly personality she is always eager to build rapport and interact with customers.
We speak to Carolyn about her role at PassionAir, what she enjoys doing most at her job and what she does for fun.
Q1. What do you enjoy doing most in a customer-centric role?
Carolyn: Every day is an interesting and fulfilling day. I feel a sense of satisfaction for being able to of service to PassionAir’s customers by offering the most suitable services and solutions.
Q2. How has what you learned from school helped you at work?
Carolyn: I am prepared for cross-cultural work (which is very relevant in Singapore). And I am able to provide knowledge and critical understanding of key business and management practices as well as in-depth analysis of changes in the environment. Which has helped me in problem solving to meet customer’s needs.
Q3. What is the most notable task you were assigned?
Carolyn: I enjoy communicating and presenting, so most unforgettable for me was being able to represent PassionAir on a Starhub cable TV program. I was initially very nervous as it was my first-time filming and had to do a few takes but the film crew was very kind and understanding. Overall, it was a fun and unforgettable experience.
Q4. What is your favourite hobby?
Carolyn: I am a wanderlust who loves to travel and explore. So definitely travelling as I get to experience new places and learn about new cultures!
Q4. What is your favourite thing to eat for lunch?
Carolyn: Hands down, the handmade noodles (shou gong mian) at our office canteen. I order this at least three times a week!
